Travis Wicks

Travis Wicks joined The Legacy Group as a loan officer in August, 2010 when Core Mortgage Group, a premier mortgage brokerage company based in Scottsdale, Arizona, joined The Legacy Group.  In this position, he is responsible for originating, structuring, and negotiating loans for all categories of property and all types of mortgage loans, including construction, commercial, conforming, and non-conforming loans.  Previously, Travis was Senior Vice President of Core Mortgage Group, where he applied his residential and commercial mortgage banking practices to the overall day-to-day operations of the commercial division and the capital formation activities for the private offering memorandum, all administrative functions, and the relationship with major investors.  He also served as a Loan Officer of Core Mortgage Group.  Prior to being employed by Core, from 2005 to 2007, Travis was Investment Manager for DCG International, Inc., a California based full-service real estate finance, investment, development and management company. 

In all, Travis has many years of senior executive level banking experience, including real estate development financing, portfolio management, construction administration, and loan management for private and institutional debt financing.    

Born in Long Beach, California, he graduated from Cal State University, Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.  He began his career with Pro Circuit Products in 1994 as General Manager in Corona, California. 

Travis’ leadership extends into the community where he has been actively involved as a member with The Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, The Phoenicians Committee, and the Arizona Private Lenders Association (APLA).
