When choosing a mortgage loan officer, you want someone with a strong real estate background who will be able to find solutions to any hurdles that arise during the process of purchasing your home.  Kathy Taylor Reed knows the SW Washington real estate market.  A Washington native and 5^th generation Thurston County resident, Kathy served as a highly respected residential and commercial real estate appraiser for 30 years.  In addition, she taught real estate appraisal courses at SPSCC for 5 years, was a partner in a large residential development where she served as lead member of the architectural control committee, and last, but not least, has built several homes as a general contractor.  As a mortgage loan officer, to say she knows many angles of the business is an understatement.  In her spare time Kathy is not idle.  You might find her in her woodshop turning beautiful pens.  Or possibly hiking, walking, running or biking in our beautiful NW, or on a local stage singing or performing.  Her husband of 30 years and two grown children are her biggest supporters.
